| Obverse [0:21] 11–2121 | 4 days of the oxherd prebend in Ezida, temple of Nabû, that Rēmūt-Nabû/Bēl-šumu-iškun/Rēʾi-alpi received from Nabû-kēšir/Nabû-kāṣir/Rēʾi-alpi and (about which) Nabû-šumu-iškun/Šadûnu/Rēʾi-alpi (later) filed a claim against him, saying: “You should not receive a prebend of my bīt-abi (‘house of my father’)!” Later they reached an agreement with each other [and] Rēmūt-Nabû voluntarily assigned [1] day from (the aforementioned prebend), in accordance with his tablet and with the registers that they/he had opened, to Nabû-šumu-iškun. Rēmūt-Nabû received 1 m 23 š silver as a gift, the price of 1 day of the oxherd prebend in Ezida, temple of Nabû, from the hands of Nabû-šumu-iškun/Šadûnu/Rēʾi-alpi – he weighed out. He is paid, quit. He does not have any claims. [They will not come back on this matter], [they will not file claims] against each other. |
